NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Mar. 8, 2017– Calvin Klein, Inc. announced today that it signed the Women’s Empowerment Principles, a joint initiative of UN Women and the UN Global Compact, comprising a set of seven areas in which businesses can take action to promote gender equality in the workplace, such as establishing high-level corporate leadership for gender equality, respecting and supporting human rights and non-discrimination, and promoting education, training and professional development for women. Businesses are encouraged to use the Principles to empower women in the workplace, the marketplace and the communities in which they live.
